GIB Saudi Arabia Achieves Mowaamah Gold Certification for Inclusive Employment Practices

Al-Khobar, 02 December 2025: Gulf International Bank – Saudi Arabia has been awarded the Gold Category of the Mowaamah Certification by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in recognition of its adoption of the required standards to create an inclusive and supportive work environment for persons with disabilities. The certification reflects the Bank’s compliance with key criteria, including institutional commitment, employment, knowledge, information technology, administrative communication, facilities and accessibility, and human resources management.

This achievement is the result of effective collaboration and joint efforts by a dedicated task force drawn from across multiple departments at Gulf International Bank – Saudi Arabia, that worked to ensure full compliance with the standards of the Mowaamah Programme. Their efforts included enhancing accessibility, improving support services, conducting needs assessments, implementing awareness initiatives, and ensuring adherence to all required criteria and standards.

The Mowaamah Programme is a national initiative aimed at enabling persons with disabilities to access suitable employment opportunities and providing them with the necessary tools and support to succeed. The programme encourages entities and organisations to adopt practical standards that promote empowerment, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at enhancing the independence of persons with disabilities and promote their integration as active contributors to society.
