meem by GIB was the platinum sponsor of the Bahrain Smart Cities Summit 2019 held recently at the Diplomat Radisson Hotel, Bahrain. The conference showcased new trends and technologies shaping the evolution of the smart cities of today.

The event, which is in its fourth year, was held under the patronage of HE Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning, and featured a conference, exhibition and awards sessions.

The Minister of Works, HE Eng Essam presented the ‘Best Smart Finance Solutions’ award, which was won by meem by GIB, to Group Chief Operations Officer, Mushari AlOtaibi, whilst Andreas Skopal, Group Chief Digital Officer was also a speaker at the event.
