Gulf International Bank participates in the Environment Week by planting Dammam Corniche

As part of Gulf International Bank’s strategy of sponsoring environmental activities, and to mark the Environment Week, the bank joined the afforestation campaign of the Dammam City Corniche in the Eastern Province. In cooperation with the city’s municipality, the bank’s employees planted more than 280 trees on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 AD.

The environmental event was opened by a speech by a representative of the Environmental Friends Society, highlighting the significance of the Environment Week and the afforestation season. This was followed by a speech by the representative of Gulf International Bank, Mr. Mushari bin Faisal AlOtaibi, Group Chief Operating Officer, who said that sponsoring such environmental activities is part of GIB’s strategic plan to promote national efforts to preserve and protect the environment, in line with the Saudi Green Initiative.
