BackGulf International Bank’s Eighth ‘GIB Golf Cup’ Successfully Concludes in Riyadh

Gulf International Bank (GIB – Saudi Arabia) successfully concluded its 8th edition ‘GIB Golf Cup 2025’ at Dirab Golf & Country Club held Recently in Riyadh. The tournament saw Benjamin Santuyo and Michael White emerge as the champions with a score of 61.
A total of 96 players participated in the 18-hole, by ‘invitation-only’ tournament, comprising professionals and amateurs, many of whom were business leaders. Among the attendees were GIB Chairman, Abdulla Al Zamil, along with GIB board and senior management members, Golf Saudi (GS) CEO Noah Alireza, GS board members, Saudi national team players and golfers, and other key figures of the Saudi business community.
The tournament used a ‘Two Ball Texas Scramble’ format. Professionals Faisal Salhab and Khalid Attiyah finished as the runners-up with a gross score of 62, whilst Waheed Aslam and Asif Raza came in third (63). A Hole-in-One prize featuring a McLaren was offered during the event, however, none of the contestants were fortunate enough to win the car.
Golf Saudi CEO, Noah Alireza delivered a speech at the event, highlighting that the GIB Golf Cup is a key event in Saudi Arabia’s expanding golf landscape, aligned with the Kingdom’s broader goals for sports development. The tournament remains an important part of the Saudi golf calendar and a part of Saudi Arabia’s broader sports development strategy.
