Gulf International Bank - Saudi Arabia Sponsors Al Sharqiyah International Race 2024

Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia - December 2024: Gulf International Bank - Saudi Arabia proudly announced its sponsorship of Al Sharqiyah International Race, on 14th December at the Al Khobar Corniche, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

A part of the bank’s CSR programme, this sponsorship reflects GIB's dedication to fostering community well-being, health and inclusivity across Saudi Arabia. Al Sharqiyah International Race stands as a key event in promoting fitness, community engagement, and health awareness in line with the Vision 2030 as this race leverages the platform to amplify critical health and wellness messages to the public.

Al Sharqiyah International Race is approved and certified by the Saudi Arabian Athletics Federation and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). Organised by the Running Race Company Ltd, the race initially started as a community service in 1995 and has over the years grown into one of the most prestigious races in the Middle East. This year’s race marks the second internationally accredited race and the 26th regional competition and attracts thousands of elite athletes and spectators from around the world.
